Cone Health to Open Medical Office in Northeast Greensboro
A primary care practice will offer services in the Renaissance Shops.
GREENSBORO – February 14, 2018 – Cone Health Medical Group is bringing medical care to northeast Greensboro. Renaissance Family Medicine Center is opening in Renaissance Shops (2525-C Phillips Ave.), the same shopping center as the Renaissance Community Co-Op.
The medical office will provide services to adults and children 12 years and older.
Community residents raised money to open the Renaissance Community Co-Op after other grocers left the neighborhood. “Everyone was impressed by the commitment the community had to making sure healthy food options were easily available in the community,” says Tim Clontz, Cone Health senior vice president, Healthy Communities, Transitional Care & Support Services.
“Making it easy to get fresh food is a key to good health. Making it easy to get quality health care is another. We are happy to be part of this community’s revival.”
Renaissance Family Medicine Center will offer same-day appointments, annual physicals, sports physicals, immunizations, chronic disease management, preventive care and referrals to specialists. The center will operate from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Later this year, Cone Health will add prenatal care and women’s health services.
Renaissance Family Medicine Center opens Tuesday, Feb. 27. To schedule an appointment, call 336-832-7711.
