Cagle Receives Clinical Leadership Award
The North Carolina Hospital Association recognizes Dr. Mary Jo Cagle’s commitment to quality and innovation.
GREENSBORO, NC July 21, 2017 – Cone Health Chief Clinical Officer Mary Jo Cagle, MD, has been awarded the Clinical Leadership Award from the North Carolina Hospital Association (NCHA).
She received the award July 20 at the NCHA summer meeting in Myrtle Beach.
“Dr. Cagle’s ability to relate to front-line staff, physicians, administrators and patients has earned not only the respect of others, but has helped Cone Health build and nurture a culture of accountability and patient-focused care,” said NCHA President Steve Lawler.
This award honors an individual who has demonstrated exemplary clinical leadership in care transformation through innovation and improvement. Under Cagle’s leadership, Cone Health has received significant accolades for patient safety and community care.
