Center for Diagnostic Imaging Acquires Open MRI of Lafayette
Lafayette, IN – Minneapolis-based Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI) announced this week its acquisition of Open MRI of Lafayette. This agreement brings CDI’s national reputation for accessible, reliable medical imaging care to a community an hour outside Indianapolis. The center, located at 130 Professional Court, Suite C, in Lafayette, is now called CDI Open MRI of Lafayette. While CDI will own and manage the center, the radiologist and staff will remain in place, committed to providing high-quality patient care.
“CDI shares our commitment to quality,” said Glenn Tuckman, M.D., medical director of Open MRI of Lafayette. “Partnering with CDI allows us to continue to provide our patients with exceptional care, at a reasonable cost. CDI’s expertise in managing the business aspect of our clinic allows my staff and me to more fully focus on the needs of our patients and the physicians who refer them.”
With the Lafayette center, CDI now operates eight outpatient imaging centers in Indianapolis and the surrounding communities.
“Our growth strategy is to focus on forming partnerships with providers in our existing markets, or adjacent to them, who share our commitment to providing high-quality imaging and exceptional customer service,” said Laura Stark, vice president of operations at CDI. “We have had a strong presence in the Indianapolis market since 1991. In 2006, we partnered with a hospital in Valparaiso to open an advanced outpatient imaging center. Now, we are very pleased to serve the community and providers of the Lafayette community through CDI Open MRI of Lafayette.”
